The Chester School District holds a Child Find Clinic at Chester Academy on May 4 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The clinic screens developmental skills of children from ages 3 to 6 (those not enrolled in first grade) who may need special education services. The screenings are by school personnel and address motor skills, speech and language, vision, hearing, and pre-academics. This service is free and open to all Chester residents. All results are confidential. Appointments are required. They can be made by contacting the Special Education Department at 887-3621, Ext. 146, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
The Chester Democratic Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Chester Public Library.
